The app is easy to use but needs some tweaks. Changing cleaning location per booking needs to be made easier using preset location. The voting system need some improvement as I regularly get cleaners with a 4.5 rating that are only a 2 compared to others with a 4 rating. Maybe more specific reference to task efficiency would help (checklist). When selecting a cleaner that is unavailable it would be nice to be able to switch to another formerly used cleaner without going back through all the selection steps to the former cleaner list, just select another cleaner to fit the same job location and parameters from the last screen. Also nice to be able to put personal notes to previously used cleaners or a use again or not option so that you don’t have to remember who was good or not or have to relay the verbally to others sharing the app. I like the option of viewing the cleaner’s picture, place of birth and residence before booking. And unrelated to the app, please review your pricing as the price increase is making it less feasible to use the service regularly and rather employ cleaners privately which I’m sure is already widely practiced and detrimental to the service.

The concept is great, the app is average
Love the convenience of it all, especially as someone who moved to a different province and needed good help. The app needs a few improvements such as the automatic switching to a different cleaner especially when the preferred person cancels last minute (or after 12 pm since the app then no longer allows changes), we should be given the option to move the date or cancel the appointment completely. I cannot have a last minute cancellation and then the next morning here is a completely new person who knows where absolutely nothing is in my house, I have work. I would then rather prefer to cancel or move the appointment. We should also be allowed to confirm the times that the help check in or out. Often helpers check in before they actually arrive and if they finish earlier they check out at their usual time, but if they go over time they are allowed to claim for more money - hence we should be allowed a refund should they leave earlier. I am also not happy with the cancellation times, a lot can happen after 12 pm the previous day of a booking, we should we allowed to cancel later - at least around 3 pm. The cancellation fee is insane - R175 and the helpers don’t even get nearly as much. If at least they would then get that amount it would be fine but they do not which makes it completely unfair.

The reason the fee is so high, is to compensate workers for opportunities lost due to being reserved for the day of your booking. Reliable service
I’ve found SweepSouth very helpful over the years. They are professional and have great customer service. In general the ladies are well-trained. Something I would love to see when choosing a sweepstar is more detail in the different ladies’ experience and strengths. For example, for me it’s very important that the sweepstar is excellent at ironing. I’d like to “filter” the skills where people have rated their experience of a sweepstar’s particular skills. I also have an Airbnb. For me it’s valuable to see if a sweepstar already has hospitality experience. The other thing that would be good is if the person who has booked the sweepstar can verify the time a sweepstar arrives. Sometimes they arrive late but then a notification comes through saying “Your sweepstar” has arrived when they haven’t. It is fine for the lady to then stay a bit longer, but sometimes that can impact your timing of things in a day. I think the actual arrival and leaving time being transparent is a good idea.
